Audio Work
“A narrator has the power to make or break a story, Jilly Bond is one of the best narrators I have come across”
The Siege by Helen Dunmore
I have been narrating audiobooks since 1996, with about 500 books to my credit, many of them on Audible. This strand of my career started as a result of a year spent with the BBC Radio Drama Company, during which I recorded 70 radio plays and many readings, both fictional and factual. This was an invaluable learning experience and ignited my passion for audio work. I’ve also won Five Golden Earphones awards.
I have my own studio and am very happy to accept individual commissions. I can supply the finished edited audio, or raw to a studio for final editing. Or I can work down the line, linking directly to a producer in an outside studio or their own home, enabling them to control the entire recording.

If you’re casting, here are some short clips from audiobooks, with genre & accent.
I am proficient in most British dialects – please ask! (Norfolk & Birmingham not demonstrated here but excellent standard). I speak good French, German, some Spanish, Russian & Italian.
