Coaching

 From 1991 to 2019, I combined my acting career with teaching at the Drama Studio, London. Work there included teaching Physical Theatre, Sight-reading, Radio & Microphone Technique, as well as directing many productions from Scene Studies to full-scale productions. I was delighted to direct modern pieces as well as 19th century classics by George Bernard Shaw, Chekhov and many Shakespeare plays.

I was Consultant to the Microphone Department for a number of years, writing the curriculum for both the Two Year and Degree Courses; I was also part of the team which coached students to enter the BBC Soundstart competition; during my tenure we had five winners over three consecutive years.
